Description: Kibum, younger son of a wealthy man, swore that he would never fall in love. Sungmin, only daughter of a rich couple, is considered to never fall in love, as no guy has captured her heart yet. Their acquaintance leads to a marriage of convenience, but can there be something more? Yesung and Ryeowook work for that, but there's a counterpart too, in the form of Kyuhyun.

“You are so beautiful!” Ryeowook sighed, admiring her best friend. Sungmin, observing her reflection in the full-height mirror, smiled happily and blushed.
“Of course she is, every bride is beautiful on the wedding day,” Yesung said, setting his bow tie.
“Yeah, but she's even more beautiful then usual, isn't she?” The bridesmaid stuck to it, nudging her boyfriend.
“She is,” Yesung calmed her down. It was weird, Ryeowook was even more excited than Sungmin, who was going to get married in a few hours. Maybe, she could feel that Yesung was going to propose to her that day.
“Thank you very much, both of you,” Sungmin bowed, setting the skirt of her wedding dress for the last time and turning around. She looked so innocent in that pure A-line white dress, like a swan. Her hair only partly pinned up, letting the long, black locks flow on her back under the short veil.
“Let's go, my lil' bro doesn't like to wait,” Yesung motioned them, and the three people left the preparation room, the man entering the nave, while the girls joined Sungmin's father, waiting for their turn to enter.
“I declare you husband and wife. You may kiss your wife,” the priest finished his talk. Kibum smiled a bit before bending forward and gently pressing his lips against Sungmin's. He had told her in advance not to take that kiss seriously, but she wasn't sure how to interpret it. Of course, it didn't have to be a lustful or a French one, which would be strange, considering that they hadn't even kissed yet, but she thought a peck on the lips wouldn't be enough. The people attending their wedding want to see something interesting, if they had come and attended the whole ceremony. So she took a step forward and answered the kiss, moving her lips against his. Their hands still connected since the vow, the audience was touched by the sight of a loving couple. Sungmin felt her heart pounding, and she would swear it was the best kiss of her life yet, even though it ended too early.
“It's time for throwing the bouquet!” The best man, the brother of Sungmin's father announced after dinner. The new-wife smiled, grabbed the pure bouquet of white lilies from the table beside her, and headed towards the band's podium. She borrowed a microphone to give a few instructions.
“Girls, it's your chance for getting married! Come closer! But don't forget, it isn't effective if you fight for it or cheat. If you get it, it should be because of fortune! Are you ready?” With that, she turned around, and threw the bouquet backwards. Then spun around curiously to see who'd get it. She could see it flying towards Ryeowook, her eyes opening wide in surprise, but nevertheless, she caught it. Sungmin was the first one who started clapping, she thought it was high time for Yewook to marry as well. She wanted to go there and hug her, but by the time she had climbed down from the podium, Ryeowook had been pulled aside by Yesung. She followed them and chuckled, as she saw him standing on one knee in front of a pretty flushed Ryeowook, a ring held out in a small box, and a few moments later they were kissing like their life depended on that. She wore the ring and they kissed again. Then they spotted Sungmin. In an instant, Ryeowook flew in her arms.
“Unnie, I got engaged! I'm going to marry Yesung oppa!” She squealed.
“I saw that. I'm so happy for you, Wookie-ah,” the new-wife hugged her back tightly.
“It's thanks to your bouquet!” The younger girl buried her face on her friend's shoulder, hiding her tears of joy.
“Well, I don't think so,” Sungmin said, stroking her back, glancing up at Yesung, who was standing beside them, making a sour face. Of course, it wasn't because of that stupid bouquet! He had been planning it for a long time. Sungmin could translate that look. “He must have prepared for that, or he wouldn't have had the ring with him.” She explained.
“Really? You planned that, oppa?” Ryeowook raised her head.
“Of course I did!” Yesung was indignant.
“I love you!” She flew back in her boyfriends - scrap that, fiance's arms, and kissed him.
“Let's go dancing, Ryeowookie-ah,” he hugged her waist, they waved goodbye to Sungmin and disappeared in the crowd.
“Are you happy?” Kyuhyun asked impudently, when he managed to invite the new-wife for a dance in the crowd of people who aimed for the same.
“How insolent! You should congratulate me,” Sungmin pouted.
“I already did. Now, I want to know it that's what you wanted. And you better be honest.”
“You seem to forget that I'm older then you,” she huffed, but Kyuhyun only raised an eyebrow. Both knew that she was just avoiding the question. The tension was still between them, Sungmin couldn't deny that she was attracted to Kyuhyun. Now, being tipsy, and this close to him, dancing and swaying, it needed much of her concentration not to do anything she would regret. “Yeah, it's exactly what I wanted. Kibum is the perfect man to spend my life with.” She stated, and surprised even herself that she meant it. Kyuhyun frowned, he didn't believe that. He expected her to say she regretted that decision and she should've had married him instead. She understood that expression. “You're attractive, but marriage isn't about just desire! It's about matching personalities and the will to spend your lives together!” She snapped and spun around, leaving a dumbfounded and disappointed Kyuhyun behind.
After a really long wedding reception, which lasted until early in the morning, their wedding night was simply canceled. Not that they minded, both Sungmin and Kibum dropped with fatigue on their common bed and without undressing from their wedding clothes, immediately fell asleep. He even snore softly, but she wouldn't wake up as she was sleeping like a log as well, illuminated with alcohol and tired from dancing all night. And anyways, they were more like friends or siblings than a couple, they hadn't even kissed before that day, it would be quite awkward to have a wedding night. Though Sungmin planned to have children, it wasn't a burning problem, she considered herself too young for that yet. She wanted to enjoy her youth and just preserved freedom first. She was happy with the life she had, and which Kibum was a part of now.
Despite the lack of passion, their relationship was harmonic and they meant home, a safe base for each other. No matter what, they could rely on each other, share secrets, and silence was never awkward. The other's presence was soothing, comforting and securing, even though they were just in the same room. After only about a week or so of their marriage, they knew it was the best decision they could have made, or maybe the best decision of their life. It was like finding your other half, which you didn't even notice you had been lacking, but when they walked into your life, you could feel that something just clicked into its place and the world became rounder.
They could amuse themselves, wherever they were. When they went out, they could chat and dance in harmony. Even if she flirted with some men, she never went too far. She would never be unfaithful, just enjoyed to be considered attractive, and people couldn't judge her when she did that ever so cutely, sometimes shyly, just ogling, while snuggling close to Kibum. And he would hug her close, place a kiss on her forehead, sometimes a butterfly kiss on her lips, and telling her that she was beautiful, why she ever needed confirmation. And people would smile, thinking that how cute couple they were, Kibum handling his jealousy this well and Sungmin being such a sweet wife, no wonder her husband loved her so much, and other men wanted to have her as well.
Though, they acted differently when they were at home. Kibum would handle her as his little sister, despite her being the older one, which Sungmin adored as well. She had always dreamed of having an older brother, or any older sibling, and he also had enough of still being treated as the 'little boy' by his hyung, and his protective side arose. Their evenings at home were spent in the living-room. Sometimes just sitting beside each other and doing different activities, reading books, newspapers, for her, also magazines, other times playing jigsaw puzzles together or chatting, but never about business. Those conversations were banned from the living room and from the evenings as well. However, their most common pastime was playing music, jamming together on the piano, or him playing the drums and her the guitar, and both singing as well. He had a soothing deep voice, while her was sweet, just like everything else about her. And as Ryeowook noted one time, even their voices were the perfect match. Only her and Yesung knew that Kimin's marriage was one of convenience, their parents not wanting to see that and thus flattering themselves. Thus Yewook aimed for making them fall in love, or as they secretly agreed, rather just make them see that they were already deep in love. Their main lever was teasing them, which usually earned glares, but made them, especially her, blush, which could be considered as an achievement. But still, none of them considered themselves to be in love, for their friends', or in Kibum's case brothers', regret.
